Successful Funding

The Place Staff and Management Committee are delighted to be successful in a number of grant applications over the last month. Our staff have been working hard to source funding to ensure our young people are supported through the latter half of the year.

We have been successful in the following applications:

The Pat Munro Foundation (£1,730) - To purchase new equipment for The Field along with support towards a project launching in October.

MFR Cash For Kids (£3,038) - To help us engage with young people to deliver cooking groups where they can gain recognised qualifications whilst also providing food to communities twice a week.

The National Lottery | Young Start (£65,848 over 2 years) - To fund the job post of The Field Coordinator to oversee The Field, Youth Achievement Awards, and Employability for 2 years.

This funding will serve as a huge benefit to not only our organisation, but to our local young people within the community Alness.
