Milnafua Fun Day

Before the Easter break, The Place had planned a 2-week Easter Playscheme in Milnafua with the intention of delivering fun activities and workshops to our local primary aged young people. Unfortunately due to the unpredictable weather, this wasn't possible.

As a result of this, we had to rethink our plans for the holidays and our team decided to deliver one last day of fun before schools returned. We teamed up with Alness Entertainment Services to give our youngsters a great day in the sun. Angus and the great services from AES provided us with 3 bouncy castles for the day and we couldn't have asked for a better turn out.

The Place staff were flooded with youngsters, eager to have a shot on the bouncy castles and play games with our volunteers, all delivered whilst following COVID-19 guidelines. We split the groups into smaller bubbles in accordance with guidance and used 1 bouncy castle per group. It was great for us to see these kids again after the barriers we have faced this year due to restrictions.

We are very excited to be delivering to our community once again!
